Trail
Project - July17-23, 2022 Sawtooth Wilderness ( ITA Drop Camp Support)
Work with the Idaho Trails Association (ITA) providing pack support for their trail crews.
Little
Queens River trip going in 7/17/22 and coming out 7/23/22. This is
about a 6 mile pack in from the Queens River, Little Queens River
trailhead. This group is 6 or 7 people with the Mini camp
Kitchen, so 2 loads with Plastic Panniers, 2 Yeti 45 coolers then about
35 pounds per person so another 2 or 3 mule loads going in.
coming out the coolers will be empty so trash and some personal gear
can fit in there on the way out. With the plastic panniers I
usually throw a top load on those to cut back on mule
numbers.

Trail Project - July 17-23,
2022 Sawtooth Wilderness
(ITA Drop Camp Support)
Work with the Idaho Trails Association (ITA) providing pack support for their trail crews.
Baron
Creek off the Grandjean campground trailhead. It’s about a 5
mile
trip up to the camp. This is a 12 person High School Crew so
we
will want the big two burner stove, some more tables, and 2 sets of
plastic panniers, 2 yeti 45 coolers and the personal gear,
this
historically is about 10 mule loads going in, but only 5 miles two
trips a day can be made easily. For both these trips the
panniers will be packed and balanced and ready to go, same with the
coolers, ITA has my big oversized panniers that fit the big coolers
only one set though. The personal gear will need to be
weighed, and mantied.
